I believe this is one of many records that “Aunt Elsie” gave us. I don’t recall if also gave it to us, but there was at least one working turntable at 4556. Or maybe this was one that Angie, Dori’s friend, had? Or maybe Dori bought it? Mone? I recall a number of items in our house were trades, loans or gifts. Not much was bought.

I don’t know what happened to the people or the records. I hope they’ve gone to happy places.

I remember playing these songs a lot for various reasons when I was between 12-15 years old.

“Only the Good Die Young” — I shared this with Lori Ritchey. It wasn’t her kind of music.

“She’s Always A Woman” — I always think of Dad loving Mom when I hear this. I believe he told me he thinks of mom when he hears it.

“Scenes From An Italian Restaurant” — Basically two songs in one, I was hooked from the start. The characters reminded me of what I believe would become of many of the couples I went to school with.

“Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song)” — As a young kid dreaming of leaving home one day, this was a bit of an anthem and advice for the road ahead.
